Jennifer Mandelbaum, CHQ Junior Scholar and doctoral student in the Department of Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior, has been appointed to serve as the student representative on the USC Excellence Initiative steering committee. Jennifer will work closely with distinguished faculty and the USC Board of Trustees to advise President Harris Pastides and Provost Joan Gable on how to utilize approximately $17 million that have been contributed by colleges and service units across the USC campus. The Excellence Initiative will support a range of projects, including recruiting top faculty from across academic disciplines. More information can be found here:
